Some Georgians Suspected Of Voting Twice

“This is extraordinarily disturbing,” said Secretary of State Karen Handel.

A team of investigative journalists from WSB-TV in Atlanta, WFTV in Orlando and WFTS in Tampa and WCPO in Cincinnati compared Georgia’s voter rolls with those in Florida and Ohio and found more than 100,000 people who appear to be registered to vote in more than one state, with no government oversight to catch it.

Which brings us to the case of Mary T Biskup of Manchester, Mo, who discovered there were scores of small online donations made to the Obama campaign in her name, even though she hasn’t given him a dime. They added up to $174,800, which is a wee bit over the $2,300 limit. This very generous donation was not billed to her own card, but to someone else’s – meaning (as the Post says) “someone appropriated her name”.

Ah, but who? And, if just one unwitting front is responsible for 175 grand of the Obama take, how many other Mary T Biskups are there out there?

President Hugo Chavez has figured out how to use Venezuela’s vast oil reserves to increase his regional influence while diminishing U.S. clout: He all but gives it away.

The self-proclaimed socialist revolutionary is allowing impoverished U.S. allies such as Honduras and the Dominican Republic to buy discounted oil with low-interest loans. Then he rebates the revenue back to those countries in the form of aid – - attached to strings he controls.

Hawaii is dropping the only state universal child health care program in the country just seven months after it launched.

And this shocker- people were dropping their expensive coverage to get “free” government health care for their children.

“People who were already able to afford health care began to stop paying for it so they could get it for free,” said Dr. Kenny Fink, the administrator for Med-QUEST at the Department of Human Services. “I don’t believe that was the intent of the program.”

Government cannot change human nature and common sense. Why pay more for the same coverage?
